I’m Jamie and I grew up in Hope, Alaska (Maybe that explains a bit about why we keep ending up in Hope for hiking and fishing!). I’ve been attending college at UAA and the University of Southern Maine (USM). I’m going back to USM in just a few weeks to finish my degree in nursing. I’ve been working with both the Child In Transition program and the Migrant Ed program for the past three years. I love working with high school students because they keep it real and they’re super fun and challenging. I can’t wait to come back to Alaska next summer and work with these programs. This will be my third year coordinating the hiking, having started out making sandwiches for everyone.Monday, July 1, 2013
